Aapno Ghar/ Airport Motel

We are over here in New Palam Vihar, specifically Phase-3 at D-17 Sahib Kunj. It’s a bit of a trek if you don't know the Gurgaon roads well, but we've been at this spot for a while now. Usually, people come to us because they need to be somewhat close to the airport or they have work in this part of town. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where the rooms get cleaned every morning and the tea is always hot. We see a lot of different faces, some staying for a night before a flight and others staying longer for business. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but that's just how it is around here. We try to keep things quiet for the guests, though the street outside can get a bit noisy with the local traffic. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the area pretty well. If someone asks for directions to the market or a good place to eat, we just tell them what we know from living here ourselves. It isn't a huge operation with a lobby full of people in suits. It’s more like a spot where you can just put your bags down and rest. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and making sure the laundry is done on time. It's basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
