Our little spot is over at G-11 in Karol Bagh. If you know this area, you know how tight the lanes can be and how much noise there is from the traffic. We’ve been here for a while now, just working out of this one room. It’s mostly about phones here. We have a lot of secondhand models that people trade in, and a whole bunch of accessories that we try to keep organized, though they usually end up in a bit of a mess by the end of the day. Repairing screens and changing batteries is what keeps us busiest. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting under bright lights with tiny screwdrivers for hours, but it’s what we do. The shop doesn't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us just by walking past or because they live nearby. We don't really bother with big advertisements. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the other shopkeepers when things are quiet. Karol Bagh is a tough place to run a business because there is so much competition everywhere you look. Every second shop seems to be doing the same thing. But we have our own way of doing things and our own regular people who stop in. It’s a humble place, nothing more, nothing less. Just a telecom shop in a very busy market street.
