A Five Star Delux Hotel In Delhi

Our place is tucked away at D-268 in Vivek Vihar, New Delhi. It might sound funny for a hotel business to be rooted in a residential area like this, but this is where the actual work happens. It’s not a big glass tower with a doorman; it’s a building where we deal with the everyday realities of running things. Vivek Vihar has a specific feel to it, with the local markets nearby and the constant flow of rickshaws and cars. We spend most of our time on the phone or sitting at desks piled with ledgers and reservation notes. There isn't any marble flooring or crystal chandeliers in this office. Instead, we have old ceiling fans and chairs that have seen better days. We’re just regular people trying to keep everything organized for the guests elsewhere. Some days it’s quiet, and other days the phones won’t stop ringing and the tea gets cold before anyone can drink it. We’ve been in this spot for years, so the neighbors know us as the hotel folks, even if they don't see the fancy side of it. It’s a bit crowded with all the files, and the lighting could be better, but it’s where we get the job done. We don't bother with polished speeches or professional marketing.
