Our office is located at number 201 on the Tea Estate Cement Road in Banjarawala. It’s a part of Dehradun that’s seen a lot of change lately. The road can be a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, but once you get inside, it’s fairly calm. We work on scientific publications and international research stuff, which sounds a bit grand, but it’s mostly just us at our computers. We spend a lot of time reading through technical papers and dealing with authors from different places. The office isn't anything special—just some desks, a lot of coffee mugs, and shelves full of journals. We don't have a big corporate culture here. We’re just a small group of people who happen to be good at the technical side of things. Sometimes the power goes out, which is typical for Dehradun, so we just take a break until it comes back on. We don't really do much local advertising because our work is mostly online and with people far away. However, we are still a local business at heart. You’ll often see us walking down the road to grab lunch at the local stalls. We keep our operations low-key and straightforward. There’s no fancy mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the editing and the scientific work, and head home. It’s a decent way to spend the day in Banjarawala without too much fuss.
