M.R.M.I Institute Of Modelling

We are located on the second floor of Meedo Plaza, which is a well-known building on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. The institute is not some massive campus; it is just a set of rooms where we teach people the basics of modelling and how to walk properly. When you walk in, you will usually see students practicing their posture in front of the mirrors or sitting around talking. The noise from the traffic on Rajpur Road is always there in the background, but we have gotten used to it. It is a very hands-on place where people come to learn things they cannot just get from a book. We have some basic lighting setups for practice and a small area for changing. We have been in this spot for several years, so we have seen many young faces come through wanting to make something of themselves. It is not all about the bright lights and fame; it is mostly just hard work and repeating the same walk until it looks right. We keep our schedules on a simple board and handle everything ourselves. Sometimes the lift in the plaza stops working, so we all end up walking up the stairs, which is just part of being in an older building. We are just a local place in Dehradun helping people build a bit of confidence and learn a few new skills.
