Mori Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in the village of Nanai, which is part of the Mori area. We use Vipin Singh’s house, number 46, for all our official business. Mori Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a way for us local farmers to stick together. In a place like Nanai, you realize pretty quickly that you can't do everything on your own. The terrain is rugged and getting things to the market is a real challenge. We are a bunch of friends and neighbors who grow fruit and other crops in these hills. We don't have a big staff or any polished corporate policies. We just meet at Vipin’s place, drink some tea, and decide what we are going to do about the next season. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We spend most of our time in the orchards or checking the water lines. Everyone has a say in how things are run because we are all in this together. The house in Nanai is where we keep our records and where the government papers go. We are just simple people who love this land. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our farming community in Mori stays strong and can support our families. It’s hard work, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
