Jwalipuram Samradh Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited is based out of Gram Hathitara. We are registered at the C/O Maa Bhawani Mahila location. It is mostly a group of women from the village coming together to manage our farming work. We don't have a lot of experience with big business, so we just do things our own way. It is a bit informal, sitting around and discussing what seeds to buy or how the harvest is looking. Gram Hathitara is where we all live and work, so it made sense to have the company right here. We aren't professional writers or anything, just local women who want to see our farms do better. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some basic stuff, but it gets the job done for us. We spend a lot of time helping each other out. Sometimes we have a lot of people in the room at once and it gets a bit loud, but that is just how we are. We don't really follow a strict schedule. If there is work to do, we do it. If a neighbor needs help, we go help them. It is a very community-focused thing we have going on here in Hathitara. Being at Maa Bhawani Mahila gives us a central spot to meet up every day. We hope that by working together, we can make things a bit easier for families in the village. We talk about fertilizer prices and getting produce to the market. It’s a learning process for all of us. Every day is different, but we stay focused on making the farming life a little better for the women here.
