You can find us right near the New Bus Stand at the Nb/Ci/12 spot. Pushpawanti is a name we chose to represent our group of farmers. Being so close to the bus stand means there’s always a lot of movement and noise around us, which actually suits the way we work. We are always busy moving produce or meeting with people who are coming into town. We aren't a big corporation with a polished image. Our office is a practical place where we keep our records and meet to discuss the harvest. It gets a bit dusty and crowded, especially when everyone comes in at once to talk about the latest market rates. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than behind a desk, so the paperwork side of things is always a bit of a chore, but we manage somehow. We formed this company to help the local growers here get their stuff to market without too much trouble. It’s about sticking together and making sure no one gets left behind. We don't have any grand speeches about our mission. We just want to make a decent living from the land we’ve always worked. If you’re passing through the bus stand area, you’ll see us there, probably loading something or arguing over a manifest. It’s real life, and it’s messy sometimes, but it’s our business and we’re proud of it. We take it one day at a time here.
