Our office is over in Verma House, right on Kholiya Mari Road. If you know this area, you know it can get pretty busy and loud around here during the day. We’ve been operating out of this specific space for quite some time now. It’s a decent enough building, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy things up and down. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone and checking on our stocks. The desk is usually covered in papers and little notes we’ve scribbled down during the busy hours. We don’t really do anything flashy or high-tech. It’s mostly just making sure things move from one place to another like they’re supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess with all the mud, but we stay inside and keep at it. The light in the late afternoon hits the front window just right, which is actually quite nice. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of staff members. It’s just a few of us making sure the trading goes smoothly every day. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea right around the corner. It’s a community thing for us. Working out of Kholiya Mari Road feels right. It’s central enough that people can find us, but it still has that local feel. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room.
