You can find us at 171/123, right near the Sabzi Mandi by the SBI in Atmaraghar. Being near the vegetable market means there is always a lot of energy and noise outside our doors, which is actually kind of nice for a film school. We’ve got some equipment, a few cameras, and some space where we talk about movies and how to make them. It’s not a huge campus like you see in movies, it’s more of a workshop feel. We started this because we all liked films and wanted a place to teach others what we know. The walls have some posters on them, and there's usually some gear lying around that needs fixing or cleaning. Students come in at all hours, depending on what we are filming that day. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when everyone is here at once, but we manage. We spend a lot of time just showing people how things work practically. There isn't much sitting around in chairs listening to lectures. We’d rather be holding a camera. The neighborhood knows us well by now. Sometimes the shopkeepers ask us what we’re filming. It’s a good little community. We’re just regular people who happened to turn a hobby into a daily job. It gets messy and loud, but we like it.
