Arc Design Group

We are Arc Design Group, and we set up our shop near St. Jude Chowk at the Shimala By Pass Chok in Dehradun. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always noise and movement outside. We have been working from this spot for a long time. Our daily routine involves a lot of sketching and looking at site surveys. We aren't really the type to use big words or act like we are better than anyone else. We just know how to put a building together on paper. The office is a bit lived-in, with stacks of old projects and rolls of drawings in the corners. We do a lot of work for people around the bypass area and further into the city. It’s a practical job. We talk to the clients, understand what they need for their land, and then we get to work on the technical bits. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just keep going. It’s a local operation through and through. We know the weather here and how the ground is, which helps when we are planning a foundation or a roof. We don't spend much on advertising; most people just know we are here by the chowk. We like the work we do and we just want to keep doing it properly without making a big fuss about it.
