We are over in Kedarwala, which is in the Vikasnagar part of Dehradun. Our main spot is at Saroj Suyal’s house, number 238. Amoebic Farm Producer Company Limited might have a bit of an unusual name, but we are just a standard group of producers from this area. Vikasnagar has always been a place where people grow things, and we are part of that long history. We have several members who all bring their own skills to the table. Some are good with vegetables, others know more about grains or fruit. We use the house in Kedarwala to organize our shipments and talk about the prices we are seeing at the market. It is not a formal environment at all. Usually, there are kids running around or someone is cooking in the background while we talk business. We are proud to be from Uttarakhand and we try to do things the traditional way as much as possible. Farming is never easy, especially with the way the weather has been lately, but having this company helps us share the burden. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just local farmers in Dehradun trying to get our goods to people who need them. It is a honest living and we stick together.
