Palaksi Tours And Travels is based in Hakimpara, specifically on Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main highways, but still right in the heart of Siliguri. We are located near the Old Malaria Office, which is an easy landmark for anyone who lives around here. The building we are in is older, but it serves us well. Most of the day is spent on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. We don't use much fancy software. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and we see the same neighbors every day. It’s a local operation. We know the rickshaw pullers and the shopkeepers nearby. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside for a bit. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing scripts for us. We just answer the phone and talk to people like normal human beings. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes three people walk in at once. We handle it as it comes. The office is small, so it gets crowded fast if there are more than four people. But we like it that way. It keeps things personal.
