Tani Travels

We’ve been running Tani Travels from this spot on Burdwan Road for quite some time now. You can find us right across from the Vishal Mega Mart, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here in Siliguri. The office is on V S Road and it stays busy with people coming and going. We mostly spend our days sorting out travel arrangements for folks who want to see the hills or head down to the plains. It isn’t a huge, fancy operation, just a regular local office where we keep things simple. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the mart being so close, but we’re used to it. We handle things like car rentals and booking trips without making a big fuss about it. Being in Siliguri means we meet all sorts of travelers passing through. We just try to get the job done and make sure the vehicles are ready when they need to be. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community here. If you’re ever near the shopping area and need to figure out your next journey, you’ll likely see our sign. We don’t have any slick sales pitches, just a desk and some chairs where we can sit and talk about where you need to go. That’s pretty much us. We stay open most days and keep the tea going for anyone who stops by.
