New Era Tour & Travels

We are located over at Hat Bazar, specifically near the Kurseonge area around Darjeeling More. It's a busy part of Siliguri, 734003. Being near the Kurseonge Post Office makes it easy for people to find us. New Era Tour & Travels is what we call ourselves. It’s a local operation. We don’t have a fancy lobby or uniforms. It's just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of talk about roads. We help people plan their trips up the hill or around the plains. It gets loud outside with the market and the traffic from Darjeeling More, but we're used to it. We deal with drivers and hotels mostly. It's not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. We try to be straightforward with everyone who walks in. No empty promises or sales pitches. We know which routes are messy during the rains and which ones are okay. It’s a practical business. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the regulars. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and files, but we know where everything is. It’s just a regular local shop. We open in the morning and stay until the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if a client is stuck somewhere or if the phones don't stop ringing. That’s just part of it. We like being in Hat Bazar. It feels real.
