Ishwar Plaza Bar & Restaurant

Being situated on Devka Road right across from the Jazira Colony, we get a lot of people coming through. Daman can get quite warm, so having a spot like Ishwar Plaza Bar & Restaurant makes sense for the locals and those visiting. We are not some high-end lounge with velvet ropes. It is just a place where you can sit down and have a drink or a meal. Nani Daman has changed over the years, but our spot remains pretty much the same. We deal with the salt air from the coast, which means we are always painting or fixing something that has rusted. It is a lot of work keeping up with a building this close to the water. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We don't have a fancy menu written in French or anything like that. It is just food that people like to eat. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy on the weekends when the crowds come in from the city, but we just handle it as it comes. Usually, it is just a regular day of checking our stocks and cleaning the tables. We aren't trying to be the most popular spot on the road. We are just here, serving whoever walks in the door. The 396210 area is our home, and we like the pace of life here. It is honest work and we do it every day without much fuss.
