Kvg Collage And Hospital is located over in Kurunjibhag, which is part of Dakshina Kannada near Mangalore. It’s a big place because we have both the hospital side and the students learning here. You see a lot of young people in white coats walking around the halls. It makes the place feel energetic even though it’s a serious hospital environment. We deal with all sorts of medical cases because of the size of the facility. People come from all over the Mangalore area when they are sick or need a specialist. It can be a bit overwhelming for some because there is always something going on. Between the classes and the patient wards, we stay very busy. The location in Kurunjibhag is quite nice, a bit away from the extreme city noise but still easy for people to reach. We have different departments for various health issues. It’s not just one thing we do here. It’s a lot of coordination between the teachers and the doctors. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with so many people moving through the corridors every day. We just try to keep things organized and help the patients who are staying with us. It’s been a part of the Dakshina Kannada region for quite some time. We just focus on getting the work done and teaching the next generation of healthcare workers. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one day at a time. It's a big operation for this area and we keep it running.
