City College Of Nursing is located in Shakthi Nagar. It’s a fairly central spot, so it’s easy for the students to get to. The building itself is quite modest and fits right into the neighborhood. Nursing is a tough field, and you can see that in how hard the students work here. They are usually in their uniforms, rushing between the classrooms and the practical rooms. We have a few hospital beds set up for practice, and they look quite well-used. The floors are tiled and easy to clean, which is good because people are always walking through. Shakthi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always some noise from the street outside, like the sound of auto-rickshaws and people talking. Our office is small and usually has a few people waiting to ask questions about their schedules. We don't have a big lobby with fancy chairs, just a few plastic ones along the wall. The ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the heat away. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on the basics of patient care and making sure everyone knows their stuff. Lunch breaks are usually quick, with people eating at their desks or in the small break area. It’s just a regular nursing college where the days go by fast because there is always something to do or learn.
