Adhishakthi Bio Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are set up at Nellipadavu House, which is Door No 3-65/1 in Ujjire village. This is part of the Belthangadi area in Dakshina Kannada. The full name we use is Adhishakthi Bio Farmer Producer Company Limited. It sounds quite formal, but we are just a bunch of people from the village working together. Ujjire is a nice place to be, and our office is right in the heart of things. We focus a lot on the bio side of farming, which means we spend a lot of time looking at natural ways to grow stuff. The rain in Dakshina Kannada can be really heavy, so we have to plan around that every year. We started this because we saw that working alone as farmers was getting harder. Now, we use the house as a base to talk about what we're planting and how the soil is doing. It’s a lived-in space, not some sterile corporate office. You’ll usually find someone drinking tea and talking about the harvest. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us and our neighbors. It’s important to have a place where people can come and share what they know. The village is small enough that everyone knows where we are. We just want to keep things going and make sure the next generation can keep farming this land like we have been doing for many years now. It’s about sticking together and making the most of what we have.
