Jamshedpur Agro Industries Limited

We are tucked away in the Shangrilla Apartments, right on the 4th floor in room 403. It is over on Balikashram Cross Road in the Kankanady part of Mangaluru. It might seem a bit odd to have an agro company in an apartment building, but it works for what we need. The sea breeze comes through the window sometimes, but mostly it is just the sound of the city traffic down below. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things between the producers and the markets. It is a small team here. We do not have a big warehouse in the city, just this office space to handle the numbers and the planning for the season. Being in Dakshina Kannada, there is always something growing, whether it is areca nut or something else. We just try to keep the wheels turning for the people we work with every day. There are no big bosses here, just us trying to make sure the farmers get a fair shake with their produce. It is practical, everyday work.
