The Garden Retreat

We’ve been at this spot on Road No N H/42 in Choudwar for a good while now. The Garden Retreat is located right near Kushpangi, so if you’re heading through Cuttack, you’ve likely passed us at some point. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but that’s actually what we like about it. There is a lot of space around here, and we’ve tried to make it a place where you can actually hear yourself think. We aren't trying to be a five-star resort or anything flashy. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping the grounds tidy and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever is stopping by. It gets quite dusty on the highway, so there is always cleaning to do. We have a lot of regular travelers who know us by now. The staff here are mostly local folks from around Choudwar who have been with us since the beginning. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just us running things day to day. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that is part of being out here. We just provide a place to stay and eat without making a big fuss about it. If you need a break from the road, we are right there. It’s a practical setup for people who just want a quiet corner to rest for a night or two before moving on.
