MAA Shyama Restaurant

If you are walking down Bajrakabati Road in Cuttack, you will find us tucked away behind the Brundaban Cinema Hall. It is an old part of the city and it has its own character. Our restaurant has been here for years, and we have grown used to the sounds of the cinema and the traffic on the main road. We aren't a big place, just a few tables where people can sit down and relax for a bit. A lot of our customers come in after watching a movie or while they are out doing their shopping in the area. We see a lot of students and families who live nearby. The kitchen is small but we manage to keep up with the orders. We don't have a fancy menu with hundreds of items. We just stick to what we know people like to eat every day. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the night, but that is just how it goes when you try to keep things fresh. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we spend most of our time focusing on the cooking instead. It is a honest way to make a living, and we like being part of this neighborhood. There is always someone coming in for a chat or a quick meal, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night.
