Shree Hanuman Traders

We are located right off the Kendrapara State Highway in Salipur. It’s a convenient spot because the trucks can pull in easily from the main road. We’ve been trading here for quite some years now. Mostly, we deal with the stuff people need for their daily cooking. The shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of bags and containers. It’s usually just me and a helper sitting near the front. We see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. Some people stop by just to chat for a minute while they wait for their order to be weighed. Salipur is a busy area, especially on market days. Our floor is usually covered in a bit of grain that spills out, but we sweep it up when we can. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. The highway noise is always in the background, which you get used to after a while. We keep the books by hand mostly. It’s easier that way for us. If a shipment is late, we just wait it out and tell the customers to come back tomorrow. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us on our feet. We like being near the highway because it keeps us connected to the bigger towns. Nothing fancy, just a regular trade business on the road. We stay open until late evening. It is busy here.
