Eastern Province Cement Co. has a branch in Cuttack at the Swastik Center. We are up on the fourth floor, Room 402. Our office is managed by Shaikh Abujkalam. Buxibazar is a very old and crowded part of the city, so finding parking can be a real headache if you aren't used to it. The building itself is busy with many different small businesses. We handle the administrative side of the cement supply from here. It’s not like a warehouse where you see the bags stacked up. It’s mostly phone calls, ledgers, and talking to the transporters who move the stock around Orissa. We have been in this location for a while. The room is a bit small, and we have files piled up on the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have any marketing brochures or big posters on the walls. We just have the necessary paperwork to keep the cement moving to where it needs to go. Cuttack is a city with a lot of history, and working in Buxibazar makes you feel like you’re right in the heart of it. We just do our work, deal with the daily issues that come up, and go home. It’s a simple, straightforward way of doing business without any extra fluff or corporate nonsense. We just make sure the orders are processed and the numbers match up at the end of every working day.
