Cuttack Public School

Situated right by the Station Bazaar in Jagatpur, our school is in a very busy part of Cuttack. You can always hear the sounds from the market and the station nearby. It is a place where we have been teaching for many years. The entrance is usually crowded in the morning with cycles and rickshaws bringing the kids in. We have a staff that is quite practical about how things run. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big advertisements. Instead, we just focus on the classrooms and making sure the students have their books ready. The building is a solid structure, but it’s definitely lived-in. You’ll see some paint peeling here and there, but that’s because we are busy working inside. Our days are filled with lessons, lunch breaks, and the occasional meeting with a parent who drops by. We don't have a complicated hierarchy. Everyone helps out where they can, whether it's fixing a broken bench or helping a student who is struggling. Being in Jagatpur means we get a lot of local families, and we like that connection to the community. It’s a straightforward school where the main thing we do is just get through the curriculum and make sure the kids learn something useful before they head home to their families in the evening. We keep the hallways swept and the lessons moving along steadily.
