Our setup is located in Mangalur Village, right on East Street at house number 119. If you know the Tittagudi area in Cuddalore, you probably know it’s mostly about the land and the people who work it. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means a bunch of us got together to try and handle our business better. It isn't always easy, and there are a lot of meetings held right here in the village. We started this because we wanted to have more of a say in how things go with our crops and sales. The office in Mangalur is where we keep all the records and where the board members meet up when there’s something to decide. It’s a simple place, just a room with some chairs and a desk, really. We spend more time in the fields than in the office anyway. Cuddalore can be a tricky place with the weather, especially when the rains don't come when they should. We all know each other here, so it’s less like a company and more like a group of neighbors trying to figure things out. No one here is wearing a suit or talking in big words. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal for the hard work they do every day. There is always a lot to do, and we aren't exactly experts at the business side, but we learn.
