Our place is at 2/46 South Street in Sathiyavadi. That’s in Vridhachalam Taluk, which is part of Cuddalore. Tniamp Kammapuram Lower Vellar Farmer Producer Company Limited is a long name, but we are just a simple local group. We focus on the farmers around the Lower Vellar area. The river is important to us, and so is the land. Our office is a small spot on South Street where we gather to figure out things like seeds and sales. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a room with some chairs and a lot of talk about crops. Sathiyavadi is a quiet village for the most part. We like it that way. Most of the people involved are farmers themselves. We don't have any fancy degrees in business; we just know how to farm. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside and talk. It’s a very practical way of living. We don't try to sound like a big company from the city. We are just here to help each other out and make sure our families are okay. The address is easy to find if you are in the village. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay. It’s just us, working on the same land our fathers did. Nothing too complicated about it. We just do our daily work.
