Parangipettai Collective Farming Farmers Producer Company Limited

I am writing this from our small office here at 1/3 Middle Street in Chinnakumatti. Most people know this spot in Kothattai, Cuddalore. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to do things together under the name Parangipettai Collective Farming Farmers Producer Company Limited. It wasn't some big plan from the start, just a few of us talking about how hard it was to get things done on our own. Farming around here is tough work and the weather doesn't always help much. We spend a lot of our time dealing with seeds, equipment, and trying to figure out the market prices which change every day. There is always someone coming in or out of the office on Middle Street to ask a question or share some news about their crop. It gets a bit noisy sometimes, especially when we are all trying to coordinate things. We aren't a big city firm with shiny desks. It’s mostly just us, some plastic chairs, and a lot of paperwork that needs filling out. Being a producer company means we have to keep a lot of records, which isn't the fun part of farming, but it's what we do to keep things moving. We just try to help each other out with the harvest and getting things to the right place. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that drives me a bit crazy, but we just get used to it. We work here, we live here, and we keep the company going day by day without much fuss.
