Wonder World Play School

If you walk down Vilankurichi Road in Coimbatore, you will eventually find us over in Venkatachalapathi Nagar. We are at No 1 Jeeva Nagar, which is a pretty quiet spot most of the time, except when the kids are outside. The school is a simple building in Cheran Ma Nagar and it has been part of this little community for a bit now. We spend most of our mornings getting the rooms ready before the parents start dropping off the little ones. There are plenty of toys scattered around and some drawings the kids made hanging on the walls. We have a small area for them to run around, though it is not a massive field or anything. You can hear the rhymes playing from the street sometimes. Most of the families living around here know us by name. It gets a bit chaotic around lunch when everyone is trying to eat at the same time, and there is always someone who does not want to take their nap. We just keep things moving and make sure everyone is safe. The building itself is just a regular house converted into a school space, so it feels more like a home than a big institution. We try to keep the garden tidy, but with kids running around, it is always a bit of a mess. That is just how it is with a play school. We like the neighborhood and the people in it.
