Beehive Academy Montessori Pre School & Kids School

We operate out of 46/6, Bharathi Palayam Main Road, right in the middle of Chettipalayam. It’s a busy road. There are always people moving back and forth outside. Beehive Academy Montessori Pre School & Kids School isn’t some big, polished institution. We are just a local school. We try to give the kids a place to learn their basics. The building is a standard size for this part of town. Inside, we have different areas for the activities. I spend quite a lot of time cleaning the floors. Kids tend to bring in a lot of sand from the street. We’ve got the Montessori materials set out on low shelves. This way the children can reach them easily. It’s a lot of wooden blocks and sensory things. The rooms are bright enough during the day. That helps a lot. We don't have a lot of staff. Everyone chips in with everything. We do the teaching and we fix the broken toys. The families around Chettipalayam know us fairly well. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where children can come and spend their morning hours safely. The noise from the main road is just part of the background here. We just focus on the kids. We make sure they have what they need for the day. It’s a bit messy sometimes. But that’s just how it goes with a bunch of toddlers.
