Vivekam Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Vivekam Matriculation Higher Secondary School is located on Veerapandi Road, right in the Press Colony area of Coimbatore. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, and the building has definitely aged along with us. It’s a big place with lots of rooms and a good-sized ground where the kids spend their breaks. We aren't really into the modern, flashy style of new schools. Here, it’s more about the basics—blackboards, chalk, and lots of reading. The staff here are mostly long-timers who have seen generations of kids pass through these halls. We deal with the usual daily stuff, from fixing a broken desk to making sure the playground stays relatively clean. Coimbatore can be quite hot, so we have some trees around the yard that provide a bit of shade during the afternoon. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we make do with what we have. It’s a school where everyone knows each other, and things are pretty informal. We focus on the syllabus and getting through the exams every year. There’s always some paperwork to finish or a parent waiting to talk to a teacher. It’s just the normal, busy life of a school in a working-class neighborhood. We don't try to impress anyone; we just do our jobs and hope the kids learn something useful before they leave.
