Our school sits on Thondamuthur Road in the Vadavalli area of Coimbatore. It’s a nice part of town, with a bit more space than the city center. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Cbse is a place where the days follow a very steady rhythm. We have students coming in from all around the Vadavalli neighborhood. The morning starts with the sound of buses pulling up and students chatting as they head to their classrooms. The building is spread out, and we have some trees on the property that give a bit of shade. It’s a CBSE school, so the curriculum keeps us all pretty busy throughout the year. The teachers spend their breaks in the staff room, often sharing snacks and talking about the day’s lessons. We don't go in for a lot of promotional talk. It is just a school where we try to keep the classrooms clean and the students focused. You’ll find the usual things here—blackboards, rows of desks, and some science equipment in the labs. Sometimes the grounds need a bit of weeding, and the library books are a little worn around the edges. We just focus on the work at hand. Whether it’s a sports day or just a regular Tuesday, we keep things moving along. It is a familiar, comfortable place for the staff and the students who spend their time here.
