National Model Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Being located on Avinashi Road in Peelamedu means there is always traffic and noise right outside our gates. It is a very busy part of Coimbatore. National Model Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a large building that has seen a lot of students pass through over the years. Inside, the noise of the city fades a bit, replaced by the sound of teachers talking and chalk on boards. We have students of all ages here, from the little ones to those finishing up their higher secondary years. The playground is usually full during the breaks, and the canteen gets pretty crowded too. We don't have any polished marketing team writing this. It’s just us, the people who work here every day. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches and plenty of windows to let the light in. We spend a lot of time on lesson plans and grading papers. Some of us have been working here for over a decade. You get to know the families in Kallori Nagar quite well. It’s a practical sort of place. We make sure the buses are on time and that the students are following the rules. It isn't always easy, especially when the exams are coming up and everyone is a bit stressed. But mostly, it’s just a regular school day with the usual ups and downs.
