S.K. School

S.K. School is right in the middle of the Flower Market area on Nanneri Kalaga Street. If you’ve ever been to the market in Coimbatore, you know how busy and colorful it gets. The smell of jasmine and roses is everywhere in the mornings. Our school building at 99A is a bit older, with stairs that have been worn down by years of students running up and down. We don't have a massive campus with a stadium or anything like that. It’s a local school where we know most of the families by name. The classrooms are simple with wooden benches and blackboards that always have a bit of chalk dust on them. During the day, it's pretty noisy with kids talking and teachers giving lessons. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep the records and handle the admissions. It’s usually a bit of a mess with stacks of notebooks and art projects waiting to be picked up. We don’t have a big fancy website or a glossy brochure. We just focus on teaching the kids and making sure they are doing okay. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes it gets stressful, but seeing the kids learn makes it worth it. It’s just a regular school doing what it can in a busy part of town. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now.
