Our office is located at 214/1 in Vel Murugan Nagar, over in the S.V. Party area. It’s a bit of a mixed neighborhood, but it works for what we do. At Vijays Infrastructure and Designs, we handle both the planning side and the actual building part. It’s a small partnership, just a few of us who have been in this line of work for a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do decent work on the projects we take on. Some days the office is quiet with someone drawing up designs, and other days it’s chaotic with phone calls and people coming in and out. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and site notes. We deal with all sorts of infrastructure bits, trying to make sense of what the client wants and how to actually build it. It takes a lot of coordination, and sometimes we mess up a schedule or have to wait on parts, but we always fix it. S.V. Party is a decent spot for us because it’s easy for our workers to get to. We’ve been around this neighborhood long enough that the neighbors know us. It’s a basic operation where we just try to be practical and get the daily tasks done.
