A & S Texcon Associates

Our workplace is at No. 8/1 in Ramasamy Nagar, which is part of the Neelikonampalayam area. A & S Texcon Associates is the name of our little spot here. It is more of a residential neighborhood than a business district, so it is actually quite nice and quiet most of the time. You will see people drying clothes or kids playing in the street near our building. Our office is just a small unit on the ground floor. We have a couple of big tables where we spread out our work and a few chairs that do not quite match. The floor is made of old stone that stays relatively cool even when the weather outside is boiling. We do not have a fancy lobby or a secretary. Usually, if the door is open, you can just walk right in and find one of us sitting there. We have a small cupboard for our files and a calendar hanging on the wall that is usually a month behind. It is a very laid-back atmosphere. We know the lady who lives next door and she sometimes brings us snacks. It is not a high-pressure corporate office with people in suits. We just wear our regular clothes and do the work that comes in. Neelikonampalayam is a good place to be because it is out of the way of the main city rush. It suits us just fine.
