Velan Food Park

Down in Coimbatore, you’ll find Velan Food Park at No 68/17 on Rajaji Street. We are right in the Ram Nagar area, which is pretty central and stays quite active throughout the day. A good way to find us is to look for the Tanga Hari Cloth Centre; we are just a short walk from there. The building we’re in is an older one, so it has a bit of character—and maybe a few cracks in the plaster here and there. We aren't a big fancy operation with matching uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us, working in the space we’ve got. We’ve laid out the area to make sense for our daily chores, though sometimes things get a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in. The fans hum pretty loud during the hot afternoons, but they keep us cool enough. We like being in Ram Nagar because the people are friendly and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners on Rajaji Street. It feels like a real community. We don't spend money on big flashy ads or anything. We just try to be fair and do a decent job every day. If you stop by, you might see us drinking coffee or arguing about the local news. It’s a simple life and we’re happy enough with how things are running. We’re usually open until the market shuts down for the evening.
