Vee Smart Buds Play School

Vee Smart Buds Play School is located over at the Nadar Ikia Sangam building. You can find us in the Kamarajar Bhavan in Karunanithi Nagar, which is right in the Sowripalayam part of Coimbatore. It’s a place for the little ones, so things are usually quite loud and colorful inside. We have some toys and mats laid out on the floor. It’s not a massive facility, but it’s enough for toddlers to move around and learn their first few things. The area around here in Sowripalayam is a bit busy with residential traffic, so parents usually drop the kids off and head straight to work. We’ve got some drawings on the walls that the kids did, some of them are a bit messy but they look nice. There’s a small outdoor area where they can get some fresh air. It gets quite warm in Coimbatore, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as possible for the naps. Most of the people working here are from the nearby streets, so everyone knows each other. It feels more like a small community than a formal institution. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website, we just talk to the parents when they come by. The floors are cleaned every day because little kids crawl everywhere. It’s a simple setup meant for the local families who need a safe place for their kids during the day. Sometimes the gate squeaks a bit when it's rainy.
