The Indian Public School

You can find The Indian Public School at 70, Dr. Alagappa Road. Being in Tatabad, Gandhipuram, means we are right in the thick of things. The traffic outside can get pretty hectic during the morning rush, and sometimes you can hear the horns honking from the classrooms. It’s an urban spot, so we don't have rolling hills or anything like that. Just a solid building with windows that look out over the street. The rooms are filled with the usual stuff—desks, chairs, and a few cupboards for books. We’ve lived with the same wall colors for quite a few years now. The office is right near the front, and it’s usually busy with people coming in to ask about paperwork or just to say hello. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we make do with what we have. The hallways are narrow, and they get quite loud when the bell rings. It’s just a regular school in a busy city. Most of the kids walk here or get dropped off by their parents on scooters. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just try to keep the place running and make sure the students have their books ready. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but that’s just how Gandhipuram is. We’ve been here at this address for a while, and the neighbors all know our face and the school gate.
