The Coffee People

We are located at number 32 in Ramanathapuram, right near Trichy Road. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our space is filled with the usual stuff you’d expect—bags of beans, some grinders, and a lot of empty cups waiting to be used. We call ourselves the coffee people because that’s what we spend all our time thinking about. It’s not a complicated life. We get here early to beat the traffic on Trichy Road and start getting everything ready for the day. The shop itself is a bit small, and the walls have a few scuffs from moving crates around, but it feels comfortable to us. We have a few regulars who stop by every single morning at the same time. We usually have their stuff ready before they even get to the counter. It’s nice to have that kind of routine. When the sun goes down, we lock up and do it all again the next day. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just stay in our spot, work hard, and try to keep things simple for everyone who walks through the door. It’s just how we are and how we've always done things here in Ramanathapuram.
