We are located in the Esteem Complex, right on Avinashi Road here in Coimbatore. Our office is on the first floor, in room seven-zero-two. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic coming up from the street below. Being on the first floor is quite handy because you do not have to wait for the lift if you are in a hurry. Inside, it is just a normal office with desks and computers where we manage the steel business side of things. It is mostly phone calls and spreadsheets all day long. We are not out in the yard getting dirty like the guys at the factory, but the work is still plenty busy. Avinashi Road has a lot of shops and places to eat, so lunch breaks are usually the highlight of the day for the staff. The building itself is okay, a bit older maybe, but it serves the purpose. We do not have any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer screen to see what you need. We keep a stack of files that seems to grow every single week, and we try our best to stay on top of it. It is a straightforward setup. We come in, do our hours, and head home like everyone else in this city. It is not a glamorous life but it is a living.
