Atlandes Metal & Tool Industries

We are located in the Suba Ganesh Industrial Estate over in Kovilpalayam. Our units are numbered from 79 to 85. It’s a pretty large space once you get inside and see all the machinery. We have been running Atlandes Metal & Tool Industries from this same spot for several years now. The estate is usually buzzing with activity from all the different businesses. We have machines running most of the day, so there is always a bit of a hum and some vibration in the air. We keep our tools and metal stock organized as best as we can, though things always get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big job. The workers here are a good bunch of people. We all know each other’s names and families. We don’t have a big corporate team with managers in suits; it’s just the people you see working on the floor. The office is just a small partitioned area with a couple of chairs and a metal filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We spend way more time out with the machines than sitting at a desk anyway. Kovilpalayam is a good area for this kind of industrial work. We get our raw material deliveries in the morning and try to get the finished shipping out by the late afternoon. It’s a lot of physical work, and our clothes usually have a bit of grease or metal dust on them by the end of every shift. We just get on with it and try to keep everything moving.
