Alco Structurals

You can find our workshop at 61/90B in T. Balan Nagar. This part of Ganapathy is where we handle all our metal work and structural projects. Alco Structurals is basically a place where metal gets cut, bent, and welded into shape. It is always noisy here because of the grinders and the saws running. The floor is usually covered in little metal scraps, and the smell of hot steel is always in the air. We don't do any big advertising or marketing. Most people find us because they need something built for a local project or a small building nearby. We have a small crew of guys and we just work through the drawings we get. Sometimes the steel arrives late, and then we have to work extra hours to stay on schedule. That is just part of running a workshop like this. The space in T. Balan Nagar is a bit tight, but we manage to fit all the beams and frames we are working on. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and double-checking the measurements with a tape. We aren't the type to sit at desks all day. Most of our time is spent out on the shop floor with the tools in our hands. It is honest, hard work that we have been doing for quite a long time. Each job is a little different, which keeps things from getting boring. We just build things that are meant to last.
