Atlandes Metal & Tool Industries Pvt Ltd is located over at the Subha Ganesh Industrial Estate in Kattampatti. We occupy units 20 and 21. It’s a proper industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise from the neighboring units and the sound of heavy vehicles moving in and out of the estate. Kattampatti is a place where people come to work, so there isn’t much in the way of scenery, just rows of sheds and workshops. Inside our units, 20 and 21, it’s all about the tools and the metal. We have a lot of equipment squeezed in to make sure we can handle the jobs that come in. The air usually smells like cutting oil and hot steel. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s where the work gets done. We spend the whole day there, from early morning until the sun goes down. Most of the other folks in Subha Ganesh are doing similar things, so there’s a sense of everyone just getting on with their business. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a machine or checking some parts. It’s a straightforward industrial setup. Units 20-21 are just where we happen to be based, and Kattampatti is where the daily grind happens for us. It’s just the reality of the metal and tool industry as we see it every day.
