Talwar Sons

We are over at 86 Chinna Subbana Street. It is a tight spot in K.K. Pudur but we make it work. Most people find us by looking for the big tree near the corner. It is a family thing, passed down. My sons are here most days now helping out. The shop floor is always a bit crowded with boxes. We never seem to have enough shelf space. Every morning we sweep the front and get the lights on. It is a routine that hasn't changed in decades. The neighborhood has grown up around us. We see kids who used to run past now coming in as adults. It makes you feel old but it is nice. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but we never get around to it. There is always some paperwork or a customer waiting. We keep the ledger on the high desk. It is a simple life. No fancy meetings or big corporate talk. Just honest work and trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door. We just put a bucket there and keep moving. That is how it goes. We are just a local fixture in this part of town. Everyone calls us by name. It is comfortable and it is what we know. We don't need anything more than this.
