Suriya Hyper Mart

Suriya Hyper Mart is at 5/2, Pn Road, very close to the New Bus Stand. Because we are near the bus stand, it is always hectic. People are constantly rushing in to grab something before their bus leaves. We have rows of shelves filled with everything from snacks to plastic buckets. It’s a bit of a challenge to keep everything tidy with so many people walking through all day. The staff is mostly just local guys who know the area. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to find space for new stock. PN Road is loud and there is always the smell of diesel from the buses nearby. We keep the fans going full blast, but it still gets warm when the shop is full. It is a lot of standing on your feet for hours. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the traffic, and we have to wait around to unload them late at night. We don't have a polished corporate office. Our desk is just a messy corner with a lot of papers and half-empty tea cups. We focus on having the things people actually use every day. It’s not about looking pretty; it’s about having the stock ready. We see thousands of people a week, most of them just passing through. It is a busy way to make a living, but we are used to the noise and the pace by now.
