Sri Krishna Departmental

If you are driving down Aanamalai Main Road in Devanampudur, you’ll see Sri Krishna Departmental at Plot No.136. We are a local store that carries a bit of everything that the people in this area might need. From grains and oils to small household items, we try to keep our shelves stocked. The road outside can get quite busy with buses and tractors, so there’s always a bit of noise and movement. We’ve been here for several years now, and we’ve become a regular stop for many of the families living nearby. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter from morning until late evening. We don't have those fancy barcode scanners or self-checkout lanes; we just count things up and tell you the total. It’s much more personal that way, and we get to have a chat with our neighbors. Sometimes kids come in with a few coins for some sweets, and other times farmers stop by for their weekly supplies. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. We just try to keep the prices fair and the goods fresh. The shop is a bit small and can get crowded on Saturday nights, but we manage just fine. It’s a good, honest way to serve the community here. We also have a small bench outside where older folks sometimes sit.
