Subash Department Store

Down in Coimbatore, specifically in Chinnavedampatti, you will find Subash Department Store. We are located in the Ragavendra Complex on Athipalayam Road. Most people use Cri Pumps as a landmark to find us. We aren't a huge chain store or anything like that. We are just a local department store trying to keep the essentials in stock for the families living around here. We carry everything from cleaning supplies to plastic buckets and dry groceries. The aisles are a bit tight because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes it feels like a puzzle trying to get everything to fit. We get a lot of workers from the nearby industries stopping in after their shifts. It can get pretty frantic around six or seven in the evening. We don't have fancy uniforms or a complicated system. We just write things down and help people find what they are looking for. The weather here can be nice, but the humidity sometimes makes the salt clumps up, so we have to watch out for that. It is just a normal business. We wake up, open the shutters, and see who the day brings in. It is a decent way to make a living and we know our regulars by their names. We keep a small stool near the counter if someone needs to sit for a minute.
