Star Driving School

You can find us at No 13 on Power House Road in Tatabad. We’ve been teaching people how to drive around Coimbatore for a long time now. Star Driving School isn’t a huge operation with a fleet of brand new cars. We have a few reliable vehicles that have seen plenty of miles and many different student drivers. The office is small, just a desk and some chairs where we fill out the paperwork and explain the basic road rules. Most of our day is spent out on the road, sitting in the passenger seat and trying to stay calm while someone learns how to use a clutch for the first time. It can be a bit stressful when the traffic gets heavy near the Power House area, but that’s just part of learning. We take students of all ages, from teenagers to older folks who finally decided they need a license. We don't promise anything fancy, just that we'll sit with you and help you get the hang of steering and shifting gears. The cars might rattle a little bit, but they work fine. We know the local RTO rules and the routes they use for tests. It’s a practical business. We’re usually busy from morning until evening, especially on weekends when everyone has free time. If you stop by the office and we aren't there, we're probably out on a lesson.
