Anand Heavy Driving School

This place is a bit different because we focus on the heavy vehicles here in Coimbatore. We’re located on Thudiyalur Road in Saravanampatti, which is not too far from the KCT campus. Dealing with trucks and larger vehicles is a whole different ball game compared to teaching people in small cars. It takes a lot more room and a lot more patience from everyone involved. Our setup is pretty basic because we spend most of our time out on the road or in the large open spaces where we practice the maneuvers. People come to us when they need a different kind of license for their work or if they're looking for better jobs in transport. It’s hard work, and the sun can be quite brutal out here on the road sometimes. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles or a fancy reception area. It’s just us, the vehicles, and the students trying to figure out how to handle something that size safely. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve seen how much it helps people to get these specific skills. The road can be a tough teacher, but we’re there to make sure nobody gets overwhelmed by the size of the truck. It’s a busy spot near the college, so there's always something going on. We just keep our heads down and do the training. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one for folks around here.
